This work is like a meditation for me. Our lives are full of symbols made by commercial companies and professional advertisers interested in fixing their messages in our subconscious. From this was born the need to create a neutral virtual environment, with ancient and proven effective symbols and archetypes and to continue enriching it with more “free” and “open source” symbols … Om.
Om OS apiens includes several programs to record user activity and preferences, like commercial platforms, but this data is not sold to large companies and remains the property of the user thanks to the protection offered by the software and open source licenses. The usefulness of this data, as in meditation, is to become aware of our habits and routines, conscious and unconscious, to know ourselves.
It is time to start taking charge of our bytes. Om OS, in its apiens version, is a first attempt to create the user interface of this new decentralized and sovereign revolution. The SaveMyLife suite is composed of several programs to automate the routines of saving data from the desktop, mobile phones or tablets and external drives that we want to save. There are also programs to save the digital content we have in traditional social networks. DNA, Digital Nomad Apps is the software memory of the platform, which allows our software to stay alive and connected to each other. It is composed of a network of computers connected through a decentralized blockchain. The computers are powered by renewable energies produced in excess in domestic and industrial systems. Whenever energy production exceeds demand in power plants or domestic installations, it will be provided to redirect this energy to computers to participate in the computation of the DNA network.

To further increase the efficiency of the system, we will introduce cyanobacteria into the equation. Thanks to the developments of the sunspiru.com project, we have found a viable way to implement spirulina as a domestic crop. Spirulina is an edible cyanobacterium consumed by humans for centuries, capable of synthesizing high quality proteins and vitamins thanks to solar energy (photosynthesis). Spirulina productivity increases exponentially when the temperature in the ponds exceeds 20 degrees Celsius, a condition that it obtains in a stable way thanks to greenhouses and heating systems. In a data center, such as those that feed the Internet network, large amounts of energy are converted into computation, which is an abstract product. In tangible reality the end product is simply the heat generated by the computing and maintenance systems in the data center. If this heat were sent to spirulina crops, this energy could be used to produce food, medicine and biomass for soil enrichment and decarbonization of the atmosphere.
